Big Lagoon CSD Board Vacancies

The terms of two Big Lagoon Community Services District Board Members are not being renewed. Their terms are up on December 2, 2022. If interested in serving on the Board please contact Bill Wenger expressing your interest at bill@biglagooncsd.com or send a letter to:

The two new Board Members will each serve 4-year terms. Please note that serving on the Board will require a commitment to attend monthly Board Meetings in addition to conducting other district business. Other requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
 

- Once approved for the position, applicant must complete Ethics
Training per CA AB1234, and Sexual Harassment Training per CA
AB1825.
 

- Applicant must complete the Annual Statement of Economic
Interests (Form 700) per the CA Fair Political Practices Commission.
 

- There is no compensation or any financial consideration for
Big Lagoon CSD Board Members.
 

- Because Big Lagoon CSD has no employed managers, or staff,
 

Board Members must often perform duties that are normally done by professional managers or staff members employed at larger community service districts. The position will include taking online courses related to water districts, a willingness to learn new skills such as proper parliamentary procedure, and the rules and regulations that apply to CA community services districts.
